Karoline Leavitt, 27, has become the youngest press secretary in White House history and has spent her first week answering reporter inquiries. At her debut briefing on Tuesday she defended President Donald Trump’s views regarding birthright citizenship which have been found unconstitutional by federal judges.

She also applauded President Trump for a successful first week in office, noting his decisions to suspend federal grants and loans as well as deport illegal aliens.

However, critics point to her comments against Democrats as evidence she may not be ready for Congress, including her insistence that climate change is caused by liberals alone and refusing to acknowledge links between abortion and women’s health issues.
